SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER

  • Experience Band -> 4 to 11 yrs
  • Role -> Full Time (No part-time, Consultancy or Freelancing)
  • Job Location -> Noida (Provision for Reimbursement of relocation cost)

Collaborate with the software developer and other IT staff members to manage code releases in a cloud-native environment.

  • Create and manage software infrastructure for the entire product
  • Configure server images, optimize tasks performance in correspondence with the other engineers
  • Drive work to successful completion across the immediate team
  • Perform continuous deployments and manage multiple pipelines
  • Understands the software with monitoring and support tools
  • Ensure the software works in its operating environment
  • Write, review and take responsibility for technical documentation
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of issues throughout the product life cycle, including out of hours support for incident resolution
  • Participate in the process of strategic project-planning
  • Participate in and lead as required, the team's agile planning & delivery process
  • Work with 3rd Party where necessary offering direction,support & documentation
  • Mentor and coach more junior staff. Provide technical leadership and direction to peers and colleagues.
  • Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and help introduce them where appropriate
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud systems, networking and databases
  • Demonstrable experience in automated cloud formation & stack creation
  • Experience in continuous integration tool like Jenkins to manage release pipelines
  • Expertise in web architecture and key technologies (HTTP, DNS, distributed design)
  • Expertise in at least one of the main scripting language for system programming
  • Expertise in identifying non-functional and operational concerns (monitoring integration, performance, scale, availability and resilience, security considerations)
  • Experience with system monitoring framework like Gatling
  • Recent experience working in an Agile environment
  • Effective leadership and collaboration inside and beyond the team. The ability to influence diverse stakeholders effectively
  • Takes responsibility for driving work to completion across the team
  • AWS or other cloud infrastructure experience
  • Wide knowledge in operating system administration, programming language and networking protocols
  • Experience in Python and other scripting languages
  • Experience of mentoring and supporting less experienced members of the team
  • Have what it takes to handle the key profile of a CTO in a product based technology start-up
  • Good team management skills with ability to handle large teams comfortably from remote locations
  • Mentoring skills to keep the workforce motivated and inspired
  • Polished communication skills & etiquette to deal with the CXO's of large corporations
  • Vision for future of the product that is in line with the realities of today and the complexities and competition in the future
